Pawshelter was founded by a group of passionate cat lovers who refused to accept the common belief that shelters had no option but to euthanize “unadoptable” cats. Determined to make a difference, these future founders joined forces and began rescuing cats from shelters just as their time was running out.

Nico Journey to Health
Nico came to us in heartbreaking condition. Suffering from a severe case of mange and a serious skin infection, he had lost almost all of his fur. His recovery required weeks of dedicated treatment—medicated baths, antibiotics, and round-the-clock care. But with patience, compassion, and lots of love, Nico’s coat grew back fuller than ever, and his joyful, playful nature returned. Today, he thrives in his forever home with a family who adores him.
Luna’s Battle with Parvovirus
Luna was diagnosed with parvovirus—a highly contagious and potentially deadly disease. Her chances of survival were low, but we were committed to doing everything we could to save her. With constant care, IV fluids, and the support of a devoted medical team, Luna fought with all her strength and overcame the virus. Today, she’s a cheerful, energetic pup who fills her forever home with happiness.
Sasha’s Journey from Severe Malnutrition
Sasha was rescued from a heartbreaking case of neglect, severely malnourished and so weak she could barely lift her head. We immediately placed her on a closely monitored nutrition plan, along with supplements to help her regain weight safely. Through consistent care and gentle encouragement, Sasha slowly regained her strength. Today, she’s a lively, affectionate dog who loves playing fetch and cuddling with her loving family.
